On Saturday March 20, 3500lbs of food were donated by Toronto Marlies fans in support of the Daily Food Bank, setting a new Marlies food drive record. Fans had the option of donating non-perishable food items, monetary donations or $5 through a text message initiative.

Those who donated were entered into a draw with the chance to win one of three Marlies prize packs. The Marlies food drive, which had 30 volunteers on site to help collection donations, closed out three days of MLSE Purolator food drives.
