Toronto Marlies and Toronto Animal Services Team Up
November 15, 2006
|
The Toronto Marlies Hockey Club is pleased to announce the formation of a new partnership with its CNE neighbour, Toronto Animal Services.
The goal of the partnership is to help place as many animals as possible into loving homes. Accordingly, the Marlies will feature one of their players with a dog and cat on our video board at every home game.
In addition, Toronto Animal Services will have an ongoing presence in Marlies Alley, the very popular interactive area that’s open to ticket holders before Marlies’ home games.
Tyson & Tyson…
This little guy is a five-month-old shepherd/beagle cross. He bonded so quickly with Marlies defenceman Tyson Marsh that the folks at Toronto Animal Services decided to name him Tyson!
Tyson (the-four-legged version) is a typical puppy. He’s very active and will need someone who’s able to invest the time and energy to properly training this very loving animal.

If you think you might be that person, please contact Toronto Animal Services at 416.338.6668 or drop in for a visit the next time you’re at a Marlies game. They’re located just steps away from Ricoh!
Tyson & Logan...
This beautiful cat came to Toronto Animal Services back in March 2006. Now a year-and-a-half old, it’s a mystery to us why this lovely boy hasn’t found a home. Logan has a wonderful disposition (he purred non-stop during the photo shoot with Marlies defenceman Tyson Marsh) and because he’s been at TAS for so long, he’s become a sentimental favouurite.
If you’re interested in meeting Logan, please contact Toronto Animal Services at 416.338.6668 or drop in for a visit the next time you’re at a Marlies game. They’re located just steps away from Ricoh!
